Apologies for the lack of news lately, I've not been at many events but feel view to email me your own reports and I'll put them up...

Updates on our junior riders, provided by Steve Powell.

The ECCA festival saw our juniors contributing to the clubs overall score with 19 points, Aaron Freeman scored a win in the under 8's & Mitch led out the bunch sprint in the under 12's getting a 3rd on the line.
Sherilyn was highest placed U16 girl in her race.

Mayday they raced in the Ixworth Criteriums, Mitch was 4th U12, winning the bunch sprint but not able to catch an early 3 man breakaway, Sherilyn managed a respectable 3rd placed U16 girl with some stiff opposition.

This week in the Essex Roads CC road race at Hog Hill Mitch went for a solo break in the closing lap, doing enough damage to the remaining riders to hold his lead, comfortably crossing the line in 1st place. Sherilyn was highest place U16 Girl in her race.
Not content with that, his Grandad then dashed Mitch back to Hylands park to participate in the Chelmsford & District Boys' Brigade annual cyclo cross competition, still on a high from his win earlier in the afternoon, he stormed around the technical circuit with his second win of the day - this time lapping the lad that came second even after a spectacular crash!
